Macintosh: How to make profiles for multiple dial-up connections
You can set up multiple connections or profiles for different dial-up connections. To make
another connection with different preferences:
- Go to Remote Access.
- Go tothe Edit pull down menu and choose Configurations. Here it will list
the different configuration schemes that are on the machine.
- Choose an existing connection and hit the Duplicate button.
- Another screen will appear asking for a name to label the connection, call
it something.
- After you hit OK, you need to make the new connection active to edit it.
- To make the connection active, highlight the new connection and hit the Make
Active button.
- This will take you back to Remote Access and you can change the settings as
you need to for the second connection. The label will be listed at the top.
